My name is Adin Putnam, and I currently live in south Louisiana with my Wife of over 30 years.
I have been interested in photography since my days on active duty in the Marine Corps. I purchased a 35mm (film....LONG before digital...) camera kit while on an overseas deployment, and proceeded to shoot enough film during that 6 month cruise to literally fill a shopping bag. (Yes, I am very glad for digital technology!) Well, needless to say I was hooked. And over the years I have experienced a growing love of the visual arts, and especially photography in all its many facets.
Today I live and work in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. I offer a wide range of photographic services, from prints, books, and DVDs to Photo Restoration. Mostly, I love to take pictures, and love having fun while I do it! And that is the approach I use. As you explore my work, I hope that you will begin to grow in your love of photography, and I hope you will see that I can fulfill your photographic needs. I am always on the look out for photographic opportunities, and would love to help build portfolios for others while building my own. I currently have access to a small studio in Denham Springs, but I am also willing to travel (reasonable distances) for your session. While I love doing studio work, I am equally at home on location or outdoors. Just ask! Do not hesitate to contact me with your questions and concerns. I look forward to working with you. And I hope to see you, through my viewfinder, soon!
